It’s Valentine’s Day, woohoo, a day of love, a day of kisses, and swooning at each other. Not strangers, that’s not socially acceptable, I mean we do it anyway, but The Handbook can’t be seen encouraging such odd behaviour.
In case you hadn’t guessed this one’s for the lovers, to be fair no one is going to call you out and send you packing if you are not lovers so we shall address this blog to you all. The May Fair hotel has turned its terrace into an enchanting space especially for Valentine’s.
Wine and dine your beloved with the four course Valentine’s menu at the May Fair Kitchen – you can put any thoughts of rumpy pumpy out the window, because you’ll be rolly pollying out the door. It’s a day to indulge, to eat, drink, and be merry. Afterwards head for a cocktail on the terrace, snuggle up on a swing seat, with the warmth of a sheepskin rug covering your knees. The night will be lit by candles and the atmosphere warmed by lanterns. Trailing ivy and red roses adorn the walls, just don’t be putting them between your teeth. It may seem romantic, but bleeding gums are not.
Open from the 10th-18th February
