Back in the 80’s something beautiful happened, something that would change our Friday nights for ever, something that would ensure that when we wanted a legal way to perk up on a night out we could, something that would end the dilemma of caffeine or alcohol on a night out…the espresso martini was created. That’s a lot of responsibility for one drink.
Something beautiful is happening in 2018, Belvedere vodka is opening Café Belvedere as part of LFW, a pop-up that is running from Thursday 15th February until Sunday 18th February. They’ll be previewing the new Belvedere Espress, the fastest Espresso martini serve from a vintage inspired syphon that is for you and six friends (definitely one to be shared, no one needs that much espresso martini, you’ll never sleep), or you can try three other cocktails specially curated by senior Savoy mixologist, Martin Hudak. You’ve got the Coffee Collins, The Cold Brew Gimlet and, giving a subtle nod to Belvedere’s Polish roots, a Beetroot Flat White.
A bar dedicated to espresso martinis…it doesn’t matter what happened on Valentine’s Day, this is what life is really about.
Café Belvedere opens Thursday 15th at 15 Bateman Street, Soho, W1D 3AQ
