We’ve already told you about Raffles Hotels & Resorts opening their first UK hotel, well now we have another one for your 2020 diaries, One Crown Place is launching a new luxury, boutique hotel in the City.
The hotel will be part of the highly-anticipated One Crown Place development in EC2 and will be operated by Bespoke Hotels and they’re going for the big one, to join a select group of five-star hotels in the City. Spanning five floors and six Georgian townhouses, the hotel will include 41 bedrooms, a 100-cover restaurant in a covered courtyard, bar and a private members’ club.
Designed by the renowned interiors business, Bowler James Brindley, each one of the six townhouses will have its own personality with rich colours and opulent but cosy details. Linking the communal areas on the ground floor will be a series of rooms including a deli, social café, art gallery and a club lounge.
As for now the hotel hasn’t revealed its name, but it’s expected to do so later this year. Until then, we’ll leave you with this excellent 2020 joke, which we will be making full use:
The other day I was asked where I saw myself in 2018. I replied with, ‘sorry I don’t have 2020 vision’… Thank you we’re here all week.
