The Pop-up Where Vegan Isn’t A Dirty Word

The best place to get down-and-dirty, in culinary terms at least, has got to be Dirty Bones. And the New York-style comfort food and cocktails joint that’s sprung up across London over the past few years is especially hot when serving ribs or chicken wings, making it the perfect place to take a date or go with a mate or colleagues, in fact anyone except a vegan.

Which is where Dirty Vegan comes in. Over a series of pop-ups Dirty Bones will put all the meat back in the fridge, and instead reach for the cauliflower.

Dirty Vegan will feature their classic dishes, but with a vegan twist. Like the Cauliflower ‘Chicken’ and Buckwheat Waffles, which take their lead from Dirty Bones’ signature Chicken and Waffles, or the Mac and Cheese which contains neither mac or cheese so is instead made with cashew and almond milk. There’ll even be a vegan take on Dirty Bones’ famous Buffalo Hot Wings, which will be served with almond yoghurt-based ranch dressing.

The drinks, too, will of course be veganised, with a cocktail menu created specially including an animal-less adaptation of popular Dirty Bones’ cocktail The Fab plus an all-new Dirty Viña Colada! There will also be a wide selection of beers and wines which will all be vegan-friendly.

So if you’ve got a vegan friend you’re keen to treat, or you’re a vegan keen to find out what all the fuss is about at Dirty Bones, head down to Dirty Vegan this March.

The pop-up will run over two sessions, on Monday 5th March and Monday 12th March and bookings will be taken online.
