The UK’s First Ever National Pizza Day

Tomorrow isn’t just Friday, it’s also the first ever National Pizza Day, because if there was ever a particular day to eat pizza it has to be Friday.

To celebrate hundreds of pizzerias around the UK and in London have joined forces to create special one-off pizzas, as well as giving diners 30% off pizza! You can check out if your favourite pizza place is taking part here.

Big questions asked on the day will include ‘does pineapple ever have a place on pizza’, we say yes, but brothers Thom and James Elliot of Pizza Pilgrims are having a major disagreement over it. So much so they’ve joined forces with Neil Rankin to create their own Hawaiian special the Hawaii-not and will be asking everyone throughout February to vote whether pineapple really does have a place on pizza.

Four Hundred Rabbits will be teaming up with Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen to offer two brand new sourdough pizzas which include the likes of Jollof nine-spiced ground lamb and spiced peanut sauce and you’ll get 30% off too. You’ll also get discounts at the likes of Made in Italy, Baz & Fred, Draft House Paddington and Radio Alice.

If you’re not up to anything tonight then you can also head to Hawker House in Canada Water which will be turned in a pizza palace with ten of London’s best pizza traders and two epic pizza puddings to try out. You’ll find the likes of Sodo Pizza, Made of Dough, Fundi and Goppa there.

National Pizza Day takes place on the 9th February 2018
