You might never be the CEO of a FTSE 100 conglomerate, but that needn’t stop you feeling like one. As you stand atop The Gherkin, pulling on your red braces and sipping Veuve Clicquot, it’ll be hard to remember that you’re not simultaneously running Carillion into the ground or manipulating the price of LIBOR.
Searcy’s at The Gherkin are launching their new Champagne brunch menu and will be offering diners not only the unique experience of venturing up one of the most iconic buildings in the world, but also enjoying classic British dishes while washing it down in true banker-style with the finest Veuve Clicquot.
The new brunch menu really is the stuff of partners’ dining rooms, and will combine fried egg on toasted sour-dough with black pudding, baked butter beans and smoked paprika or bavette steak in a red wine sauce. Brunch classics like eggs Benedict or Florentine will also be on-hand, topped off with crispy salmon cake.
It’s only right, given your stratospheric rise to the top of the city, to celebrate your humble beginnings with a pudding of the best Eton Mess. Or else gorge on chocolate ganache tart with malt ice cream or freshly made waffle with sautéed seasonal fruit and Chantilly cream.
Brunches will be accompanied by Veuve Clicquot Rich Champagne, which is sweeter then the usual blend and served on the rocks with fruit to intensify the signature notes of the Champagne. But of course you knew that already, given your third or fourth home is somewhere in the Champagne region.
Boss it like a real life boss and splash your next bonus cheque on one of Searcy’s exclusive brunches, each weekend between now and summer.
