Unlike London buses, which on my commute tend not to come at all, street food markets seem to arrive all at once. Along with today’s announcement of Two Tribes KX’s arrival in King’s Cross, Pitch will be retuning to Stratford High Street.

After a brief hiatus, the alfresco street food venue is back and this time with a busier schedule and wider array of food and drink options than ever.

Opening in time for the Easter weekend, this is the perfect place to escape the bank holiday madness of the nearby Westfield Stratford City and the space is minutes from the tube, making it supremely accessible.

A trio of popular street food traders make up the opening team from a food perspective in the form of Ticos, serving up their gourmet hot dogs, The Gyoza Gang with their delicious dumplings, and Kalimera will be responsible for bringing the Greek sunshine and souvlaki. Veggies and vegans will, of course, be catered for too thanks to The Pitch Sweet Shack, who will be offering homemade churros and crepes.

All-important alcohol will be left to Camden Brewery, who will be putting on draft, bottled and canned options, including gluten-free beers, alongside an array of cider, wine, cocktails and premium spirits and mixers.

The entertainment will be an ever-changing lineup of artists, with Thursdays devoted to new experiences, including fun-filled activities, Fridays will host daytime networking and post-work drink and Saturdays will be split into three: family-friendly lunches, lazy afternoons and evening alfresco eating and drinking ahead of film screenings (they’ve got a 196 inch HD screen!). Sundays will be all about brunch and Ibiza vibes.

So if you’re looking for a chilled out East London weekend hangout, or an event space for work or even somewhere to watch the World Cup, then Pitch is the place for you.

Pitch will be located at 2 Bridge Terrace, Stratford, E15 3FF
