Did you know that the symbol of Madrid is a bear nuzzling a strawberry tree? That it’s the highest capital city in Europe and it has more cloudless days that almost any other city in Europe? Did you also know that it’s critically acclaimed bar, 1862 Dry Bar is coming to London as part of The Bloomsbury Club Bar’s, Club Residencies Project?
The previous winner of the ‘Best Spanish Cocktail Bar’ Award in Mixology X Trends in Madrid will be landing in London on the 24th April for its four-day residency, where they’ll be showcasing a bespoke cocktail menu featuring five of their signature drinks including the popular Prescription made from Punt e Mes, Amer Picon, Campari and lemon juice and they’ll be putting their own unique 1862 Dry Bar twist on three of the Bloomsbury Club Bar cocktails.
Transporting you to Madrid, there’ll be Spanish music each night and a bespoke tapas menu, with calamari rolls, patatas bravas and churros. Although we’re pretty sure they’re not bringing a bear and a strawberry tree with them.
1862 Dry Bar will be at The Bloomsbury Club from the 24th -27th April 2018
