He might normally make a lot of noise in the kitchen, but Gordon Ramsay has rather quietly opened Street Pizza within Bread Street Kitchen.
He’s kept things casual, saying that ‘pizza doesn’t need to be complicated’ so for £15 you’ll get bottomless sourdough pizza served by the slice in five flavours: Margherita, pepperoni, charred aubergine, corn and chorizo and a daily changing special. Cocktails will start at just £6, female DJs will take to the decks throughout the week, you can’t book and most importantly (after the pizza) there’s a Negroni ice-cream machine.
As Ramsay says, “If there’s one thing I believe it’s that pizza doesn’t need to be complicated. So, let me introduce you to simple, delicious bottomless pizza – served by the slice so you can enjoy as much of each of our signature toppings as you like. It’s pizza without rules.” And we couldn’t agree me.
