The Bank Holiday might be over, but we have two things to cheer you up: 1) there is another Bank Holiday in a month and 2) Le Pont de la Tour has recently appointed a new Head Chef, Julien Imbert and his unveiling a new brunch and who doesn’t love a new brunch?
The French inspired menu will include black truffled scrambled eggs with fresh truffles on freshly baked brioche topped with comté and chives; Croque Madame with Mornay sauce, ham cured in-house, Emmental cheese with a sunny side up fried egg and Pain Perdu. Based on his grandmother’s recipe, it’ll be made from slices of fluffy brioche dipped into milk and egg before being fried and topped with homemade caramel ice cream.
To drink there’ll be breakfast cocktails, prosecco and Bloody Marys which of course can be bottomless. And with it being a four day week you have less time to wait until you can be reunited with your brunch bae.
