If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to stay a night in a Champagne House, then your dreams are about to become true…sort of.
This summer, Ruinart will be opening the doors to a unique one-bedroom hotel in Primrose Hill. Designed in collaboration with Tom Hingston of Hingston Studio, Hotel 1729 will be a dreamlike interpretation of the Maison Ruinart, the world’s first established Champagne House created in (yep you guessed it) 1729. Having connected with artists since 1896, Ruinart believes that living is an art form, so expect the unexpected, history and modernity will meet, and reality and fantasy will merge.
Guests will find Ruinart brought to life around them as they experience storytelling, visual twists and a menu of experimental food and of course, plenty of Champagne. Hosted by Ruinart Maître d’Hospitalité, Olivier Livoir and experimental Danish chef Bo Lindegaard, guests will be guided through tastings of Ruinart in all its forms whilst hearing tales from the Maison and trying the experimental menu.
Hotel 1729 will be open from the 30th June – 10th July 2018 in Primrose Hill for one-night stays only. Prices start at £850. Reservations open now.
