When the sun is out, everyone acts a little differently. For one, we talk about the weather even more than usual, insist on walking absolutely everywhere, whilst getting our celeb on donning sunglasses indoors, at all times.
It’s without a doubt however, that the sun makes it a little easier to pull on the gym gear and do some outdoor exercise of some sort. Knowing this, John Lewis’ Summer of Sound on the Roof has announced the launch of their sunrise HIIT training sessions from fitness experts HEX.
If the word sunrise is sending shivers down your spine, wondering at what a.m. this falls, we feel the panoramic backdrop of the classes, set against the capital’s skyline are bound to lure you in. Plus, what better way to enjoy your weekend than knowing you’ve got it off to a healthy (and sweaty – very sweaty), start?
The classes will see HEX founders Chris Timmins and Phil Wilkins working alongside ex-army fitness blogger and presenter Olivia Cox, to blitz body fat and boost metabolism.
What’s more, John Lewis’ Summer of Sound on the Roof will be open with a series of live gigs, DJ sets and acoustic music, so work hard and maybe, just maybe, you’ll be deserving of a post work-out cocktail.
The HEX HIIT classes are running every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 31 May and 31 August, at 300 Oxford Street, W1C 1DX, www.johnlewis.com
