Champagne might have been at the top of the sparkling wine game for a long time, partly because the name sounds fancy and it makes us think we’ll all be that little bit more sophisticated if we drink it, but actually we should be championing all things homegrown and English sparkling wine is definitely giving it a run for its money, especially the award-winning Chapel Down. And this summer you the English winemaker has teamed up with Florentine Restaurant & Bar to host a series of pop-up rooftop bar nights.
A Curious Corner by Florentine will give you everything you need for an idyllic summer evening, accept the weather they aren’t miracle workers, but you will get sky-high views of London, DJs, plenty of sparkling wine and Curious Apple Cider and Curious Brew Lager (both by Chapel Down) and a summer menu of oysters, salads and grilled dishes.
Open monthly throughout the summer, each night will have a different theme including Ibiza Chill Out and BBQ and Beats.
Upcoming dates for Curious Corner by Florentine are 16th June 2018, 14th July 2018, and Saturday 25th August 2018
