Connaught Village is celebrating its 150 year anniversary with a street party. Enjoy traffic-free streets, an immersive walk through time, live music and entertainment and more. The main attraction is Horrible Histories performing twice, but there is so much more to enjoy.
Bompas and Parr will be bringing their world-renowned jelly food art to the festivities, with flavours ranging from traditional to radically unheard of.
Decade-spanning entertainment will include prosthetic make-up from London College of Fashion, 1960s flower crowns, 1970s tie-die workshop, 1920s Charleston dance classes and Victorian street games.
If you want to shop or learn, there will be countless promotions and exclusive offers, workshops, classes, and activities inside the shops throughout the village. Want to take an embroidery workshop or wine tasting class? Head to The Place London or Connaught Cellars. Cheese tasting at Buchanans Cheesemonger is also an option, as is a class in hair braiding and makeup through the ages at Fé Hair and Beauty.
Even your canine bff will have fun, with dog photography in front of historical backdrops at Hyde Park Veterinary Centre.
The Connaught Village ‘A Walk Through Time’ party starts Thursday 5th July 3-7pm.
