Karve, at Five Miles in Seven Sisters, really has got something to blow its trumpet about. The jazz pop-up is the brainchild of chef Trystan-Ross Williams, musician Tim Thornton and operations expert Amy Newbury and will see music and food combine this August for one night only.
This Sunday the pop-up will collaborate with saxophonist Leo Richardson who will be bringing his jazzy quartet to provide the soundtrack for an evening of sharing snacks including prawn cocktail, barbecued, during the musicians’ first set and a stone fruit bread and butter pudding during their last set to the music iteself. The menu will unleash a host of barbecue flavours including rare breed pork, incredible fish and chips as well as a vegetarian menu. All of which will be washed down with a selection of fantastic brews.
On the music front Richardson has put together a special bespoke set including two sets specially written for the event and in tandem with the menu itself, making it the best combo of food and music since The Ketchup Song.
