We’re rooting for this next one… The Kitchen Garden is sprouting up this summer – on the 20th of this month to be exact – allowing green-fingered guests the chance to experience five zones – and no we’re not talking about tube zones before the heart palpitations start.
No, instead Nova Food is bringing SW1 some botanical-themed boltholes in the form of immersive herb garden, lavender lounge, secret garden, shed sessions and a centre stage, helping your health and wellbeing to flourish along with your desire for the weekend to never end. Nova Food is a destination renowned for bringing together all our favourite eateries – ever thought that Sashimi salad at Timmy Green would go marvellously well with a Shake Shack float? Well Nova Food is at the helm of these food-fuelled dreams, as they house a range of restaurant brands, two minutes from Victoria station.
The pop-up will showcase all of the goodies Nova Food harbours, from plants galore, hidden fitness frenzied escapes and shed sessions for restaurant pop-ups to share their culinary secrets. And because no summer is complete without a deckchair on artificial grass, the centre stage will feature deckchairs in their masses, where locals and commuters can enjoy performances.
The sanctuary will give you the chance to shake off the many emissions, spare your ears from the chimes of “mind the gap”, and completely relax in a garden filled with wellbeing wagers, food, drink and… well, need we say more?
The Kitchen Garden runs between the 20th of August and 8th September at 1 Sir Simon Milton Square, Westminster, SW1E 5DJ. To take a look at the full schedule of activities and to book, visit www.createvictoria.com
