London’s first ever brunch festival

Brunch has blown up as of late, holding hands with rushes like the gin craze and all things unicorn. Therefore, there’s little surprise that London is getting its first ever brunch festival, running from the 1st-2nd of September.

At the end of the day, we love to brunch. Some may prefer the (br) part, others may prefer the (unch), but what we all probably have in common is the desire to indulge in a bloody Mary or mimosa, lazily brunching with friends and dismissing the hangover blues. London’s brunch fest will have you saying goodbye to brunch FOMO, by bringing you some of London’s best menus under one roof. From drinks that boast quirky alternatives to brunch classics, like The Pickle House or a dose of Kombucha at the Komchua Bar. Just a peruse on the website shows a bloody Mary with a prawn sticking out the top, so, we’re sure you’re in for a few savoury treats.

Or, have a peruse of the marketplace where you can discover smoothies, juices, granolas, yogurts and more. Summer bod might be a thing of the past, but who’s to stay staying fit in winter isn’t a thing? And, with words like Kombucha, hempseed and buckwheat flying around, turn your ignorance into enlightenment at one of the many masterclass sessions, where brand founders will be keeping you in the foodie loop. For beats whilst you eat, there will be DJ sets from Maj-ik, Ceesix, Greg Hale and Dozzer, but apologies in advance if the ‘dun-dun-dun’ is somewhat reminiscent of last nights’ drunken antics.

Visit the brunch festival from 1-2ndSeptember at Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, E1 6QR, and use the code THEHANDBOOK10 for 10% discount on any ticket type.
