As summer draws to a close, so too does this sweaty, sticky and “where on earth did this come from?” heatwave we seem to be immersed in. The good news about a heatwave however? We need to stay refreshed with, say, a cool tipple most preferably in the form of a see-through liquid that tastes a whole lot like gin. In fact yes, I am talking about gin, and so is Hayman’s of London. They’re talking about gin so much even, that they’ve reintroduce their fabulous “Ginema” concept, due to popular demand (surprise, surprise).
So, if a mouthful of mother’s ruin is what you’re after, get yourself down to Hayman’s. This time it’s a weekend of cult classics with a taste of gin and a sprinkle of nostalgia on the nose for a “Back To School” themed marathon at the Home of English Gin; this includes The Breakfast Club, Grease, Rushmore, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Hayman’s gin distillery once more turns into a gin-themed pop-up cinema accompanied by their local True English Gin cocktails inspired by the night’s theme. Guests will also be served London Dry Gin popcorn throughout the evening (sounds like a must try!).
You’ll settle into a bean bag and with a complimentary G&T in hand, there’s nothing more you could ask for but days off already in the first week of the academic year! But don’t pull a Ferris Bueller.
Running from Friday, September 7th to Monday, September 10th, 2018 at Hayman’s 8A Weir Road, Balham, SW12 0GT
