Too Early For Christmas Cinema? Think Again

Too Early For Christmas Cinema? Think Again

This is a public service announcement, it may be sunny, and we may be in for an Indian summer, but it is now 109 days until Christmas or if you’re one of those who can’t grow up and still speak like you’re at primary school, 110 sleeps.

Why are we talking about this now? Because to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Raymond Briggs’ beloved book, The Snowman, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has teamed up with Backyard Cinema to create an exclusive, immersive adventure and tickets are on sale now.

Set to be Backyard Cinema’s biggest and most festive experience yet, guests will find themselves immersed in the magical world (which is over 5000 sq ft) of The Snowman as they journey through replica sets from the film before watching the film on a 10-metre-wide curved LED screen. The Snowman himself will be making an appearance too, but he better not be melting because I’m still emotionally scarred by that.

Backyard Cinema presents: The Snowman™ Experience will run from the 22nd November 2018 until 6th January 2019
