As we all know a dog isn’t just for Christmas and rooftop drinking isn’t just for summer. Bring in the heaters, wear enough layers and drinking alfresco in the nippy air watching the twinkling Christmas lights is the perfect winter date. And it just so happens that ME London’s Radio Rooftop is launching not one, but two winter terraces today, Fire + Ice in partnership with Grey Goose Vodka and Patrón Tequila.
The North-facing ICE terrace is becoming a Nordic-style winter hideaway, decked out with pine, faux fur throws and with Icelandic cool vibes, but luckily not on the temperature as it’s covered and heated. Sip on a Grey Goose Espresso Martini with La Vanille and snack on smorgasbords.
Over on the southern terrace it’s all about the heat (it will be from the outdoor heaters obviously, we never have Mexico’s temperatures) as the FIRE terrace takes its inspiration from Mexico. Agave plants, Latin prints and terracotta will fill the terrace whilst to drink there’ll be Patrón Spicy Margarita and a fresh Orange Blossom Margarita.
The terraces are open from today (29th November) until March 2019 which means if you’re diary is filled with more carol singing, Christmas parties and mulled wine then you know what to do with, you still have time to visit. We say go again in January when it’s all a bit bleak and a Patrón Añejo hot chocolate would go down a treat.
Fire + Ice is open at Radio Rooftop from the 29th November 2018 – 31st March 2019 at ME London
