Now over 100 years since women got the vote, it’s safe to say that us ladies are having a moment. In fact, we’re having way more than just a moment, we’re here to stay and grow together in ways undefined. This includes breaking through in the film industry, pushing stereotypes to the wayside and embrace our creative prowess. This being something Bulgari Hotel London is equally as excited to promote.
The hotel has announced its full line-up for the whopping second edition of its Breakthrough Women in Film Series showcasing three who run the world, GIRLS! style events to kickstart 2019 with a full on dose of female empowerment and positivity. Young female filmmakers will be given the spotlight, with each screening being followed up by a live Q&A session with the director or leading member of the cast. This celebrated sequence of events will kick off with a screening of BAFTA-nominated Only You on Friday 25 January, Josephine Decker’s Madeline’s Madeline on Tuesday 26 February and ending with Libya-based documentary Freedom Fields on Thursday 21 March.

Each story holds dear a contrasting backstory that you can choose to be apart of from January until March and the do-gooder in you will rejoice as well knowing that each ticket purchased – which includes drinks and canapes – sends £7 off to Bulgari’s chosen charity, Save The Children.
