Who’s heard of the Culpeper? The venue named after Spitalfields local, oh and astrologer, Nicholas Culpeper, and a mighty fine joint for a post-work pint! Now, the famed location has spread its hospitality wings to give us The Buxton, a quirky Brick Lane pub with personality, a fine amount of wood and brass!
Whilst we don’t know a great deal about the venue just yet, (as it’s set to open in the spring), but what we do know is that it’s a pub that’ll be kitted out. Championing earthy tones, the part-pub part-hotel set up will see a whole lot of Portland stone involved, alongside marble, wood and brass embellishments. So, if you’re a sucker for an interior photo grab and good bit of traditional English pub-y vibes then it’s totally worth a visit.
The Buxton is set to boast vibes similar to its older sister, as pictured above and features of the hotel include a rooftop, accessible for hotel guests, a hot pink corridor leading to the 15 bedrooms on offer, a standalone bar and kitchen area with a Rosso Levanto marble surrounding and drinks galore, of course. In real London style, the watering hole will sit inside a former Victorian pub and cater to around 30 covers, so you grab a bite to eat after all the exhaustion of tipple drinking!
The Buxton will be located at 42 Osborn Street, E1 6TD, and is set to open in just two weeks time! Keep an eye out for events unfolding here
