What could be more romantic than snuggling under the stars, sipping a warming cocktail in an enchanted garden while you watch Sleepless In Seattle? Well, perhaps being IN Sleepless In Seattle, but otherwise nothing. Which makes this the ideal date.
The Berkeley’s rooftop cinema sessions have been running for a while now, launching waaaay back in November, and the premise is simple, take yourself high above the genteel streets of Knightsbridge and Belgravia, and into a garden cinema on the rooftop to enjoy classic films. Well now they’ve decided that the show must go on. On until at least March.
And so they should, because it’s truly magical. On the roof you’ll find a cosy seats with fluffy cushions, snuggle with a hot water bottle under a Moncler fur wrap and a mulled wine or hot choc to keep your hands nice and warm. As you watch the film, graze away on a special winter market-style menu allowing you to pre-order hot or cold dishes.
During January and February they’ll be showing Sleepless in Seattle and Notting Hill, which makes this January’s official best date.
