You know how it is, when you’re down the shops and your lady-moustache is just itching for a trim (yes, in retrospect I probably should have asked one of my female colleagues to write this one). If you’re constantly laddering your jeans because the talons on the end of your toes need a good filing down, or your welding mask prevents your hair from being bouffanty enough, you’re going to rejoice. Duck & Dry Express is coming to a Primark near you. What’s more, it’s going to be cheap, with a stunning £13 for a blow dry and a measly £6 for a good threading (apparently this, like their made-in-Bangladesh t-shirts, is surprisingly affordable).
Duck & Dry specialise in hair, nail and brow services. They don’t just do blow-dries, they’re also nifty in the ‘updo’ department, which, I’m reliably informed by a girl in the office, is ‘You know Marge Simpson? Well, that’.
And they’re heads, shoulders, fingers (not knees) AND toes ahead of the rest; with stylists hard at work to ensure your nails are as manicured as a Parisian lawn and your lashes are luscious enough to fulfil their primary function, to protect the eyes from dust and debris. And then what could be more important than ensuring your toes are on-trend when you’re on-the-go?
Partnering with Primark means that you can buy your eyebrow-raisingly cheap clothes and then have your eyebrows and conscience re-styled into the deal.
Duck & Dry opens their first outlet, with three stations at Oxford Street Primark on Monday 18th March
