The Handbook
The Handbook

2019 has already teased us with glimpses of summer, remember those glorious days in February? Admittedly a distant memory now, with the papers claiming we’re about to head into a week of dropping temperatures and sleet. Still, when the summer returns Backyard Cinema is going to be there ready to transport you to L.A.’s legendary Venice Beach for a series of retro L.A. Nights – hopefully without any need for umbrellas.

Bringing the sun-kissed beaches, palm trees and chilled West Coast vibes to Camden Roundhouse, this summer you can kick back on a giant beach bag in the sand, cocktail in hand and watch the likes of The Lego Movie 2, Captain Marvel, A Star is Born, Stan and Ollie and classics like Clueless and Back to the Future.

Backyard Cinema will also be hosting sing-a-long beach parties, with plenty of cocktails, light shows and dancers. Even the most out of tune singers are encouraged to belt out the songs of The Greatest Showman, Dirty Dancing, Grease and Bohemian Rhapsody.

This comes at the same time that Backyard Cinema has announced they have a new venue and new theme coming to South London – it’s all a secret now, but sign up on their website to be the first in the know.

Backyard Cinema L.A. Nights will run between 18th July – 25th August 2019 at Camden Roundhouse.
