Brunching On A Beach In Bloomsbury

Three of the finest B’s going – bottomless, beach and Bloomsbury, and they’re all for your taking as soon as June hits! Yes, the annual summer Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens is back, bringing a little slice of the Bahamas to Bloomsbury. In fact, it’s pretty crazy how much it resembles a beach – who needs a holiday when you’ve got this little sandy sanctuary?

For the fourth year running chaps, they’re shipping in the real sand, they’ve got the beach-hut, they’re mixing up the Pina Coladas and they’re even serving up the bottomless brunch too in the conservatory. It’s called bottomless ‘Brunch on the Beach’ and we’re a’liking the sound of it! Cocktails will be bursting with vibrant summer flavours; you’ve got the Dark and Stormy – two words that we hope won’t apply to the weather – as well as, Pina Colada’s, like, loads of them and The Montague’s summer inspired drinks; Summer Spritz, Ocean Breeze or White Sands.

Grab the flip flops and the sarong and visit the luxury Bloomsbury hotel for bottomless tropical cocktails with two hours of unlimited refills – eek – alongside a ‘finger food brunch’ which will have the millennials on the edge of their seats with highlights of avo and smoked salmon toasts and moreish goodies such as black pudding scotch eggs, Cumberland sausage with red onion chutney and cheesy fried camembert with cranberry sauce. To top it all off it’s got to be ice cream, obviously! We’re on the beach after all…

Looks like life really is a beach at The Montague on the Gardens!

The brunch will be running every weekend from 1st June to 15th September 2019 – Maritius, eat your heart out! The Montague on the Gardens can be found at 15 Montague Street, Bloomsbury, WC1B 5BJ, www.montaguehotel.com
