Harry Potter is the gift that just keeps on giving and this time around we’ve got Gringotts Bank to explore, courtesy of Harry Potter Studios – eek! Who remembers that spine tingling scene in Deathly Hallows Part Two? The seat edge gripper was filmed in the bank and now it’s yours to take a tour of.

They’ve teased and taunted with the #UnlockTheMagic campaign as we eagerly awaited the new secret development. Now, it’s been revealed that it is indeed a super swanky replica available for the public to see. Fingers crossed there isn’t a huge snake hanging about in there like in the film… get your parseltongue at the ready!

The bank is the largest expansion to date for HP Studios and will involve a walk through the wizarding bank of Gringotts, the Lestrange vault, a gallery of goblins and so much more. We’re hoping to see those quizzical goblins amongst the perfectly replicated room of imposing marble columns. Potterheads may have wondered why the bank has taken a fair amount of time to bring to the public eye? Well each and every prosthetic mask took weeks to create, with every hair individually inserted and veins painstakingly painted by hand. In fact, it took four hours to transform actor Warwick Davis into Griphook in the films. Suffice to say a tonne of work has gone into the space making it truly and utterly magical.

Inside you’ll also see the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s cup, and you can walk through piles of gold with over 200,000 coins created. Warner Bros. Studio Tour can be found in a magical location that you can only seek out if you’re a witch, wizard or other magical being…

We’re kidding; Warner Bros. Studios, Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden, WD25 7LR. Jump on ya broomstick and get booking now!
