Spring is a’springing and with it a range of glass exhibitions, courtesy of American glass sculptor extraordinaire Dale Chihuly. Kew Gardens will see its flora and fauna take on a blooming marvellous glass form, scattered across flower beds, lakes and glasshouses.

Dale Chihuly is renowned for his sensational, show stopping displays, having scattered his influence across the world in places such as New Orleans Botanical Garden and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. He work has lit up Kew before in 2005 and you may have caught a glimpse of his magic hanging in the V&A rotunda. Taking up residency in Kew this month with his Reflections On Nature exhibition, visitors can expect a spectacle of glass offerings that promise the perfect marriage of art, science, and nature.

Like an otherworldly display, you’ll explore the family friendly Chihuly Trail, meandering through dazzling glass masterpieces materialising as nature.

Highlights include Chihuly’s celestial Sapphire Star and selections from his portfolio including Drawings, Venetians, Seaforms, Baskets, and Rotolo.
