Prepare for wisteria hysteria, the purple plant is fully in bloom and everyone on Insta’s going crazy for it. Step aside Peggy Porschen, sunsets be gone, there’s only one show in town and it’s London’s wonderful wisteria.

So here’s where to head to check out all the wisteria on display in the capital right now; smart phones at the ready…

The royal borough is perfect for wisteria spotters. Though we hope all the curtains and blinds in this house are firmly closed because the owner is a foreign billionaire who doesn’t actually live here rather than a family sick to death of all the Instagrammers!

Head out east (ish) to Greenwich and catch an eyeful of this Georgian terrace playing merry hell with the brickwork but looking incredible.

Let’s hope you’re not hayfeverish if you’re going to pull this stunt in Marylebone.

Mayfair’s Maddox Gallery have happened upon a pretty smart marketing tactic, by inviting pretty much every influencer to their window for the Insta love.

London’s mews are the hidden gems of central London, running behind every townhouse lined square and street.

Bradmore Green, Old Coulsdon

Incredibly Old Coulsdon is, just about, still in London and the wisteria isn’t even the main event given the beautiful setting.

St Leonard’s Terrace, Chelsea

The squares and streets just off the King’s Road in Chelsea are both beautiful and fine pickings for wisteria. Grab some classic M.I.C. shots while you’re traipsing the KR for good Insta-measure.
