I feel like I start the majority of my articles here saying “well, I’ve seen it all now…” but honestly after this I think I might’ve! Neon naked life drawings are coming to London, doing just what they say on the tin. Life drawing is definitely something we all want to have a whack at but we’re too scared of getting out our unmentionables! But, this neon malarky totally gives you an excuse to bare all, because you’ll be covered in paint (ish)!
So, what’s all the fuss about? Well, the Queen of Hoxton has decided to spice things up as the end of summer nears, swapping swimming pools and outside screenings with the psychedelic! The class will include one model in body paint and accessories, a drawing board for you to express your inner Picasso, paper, neon pens, graphite pencils, neon pastels, chalk and that’s your lot!
It’s without a doubt that neon life drawing is an experience unlike most, and we’re sure Dali, Denning and Dermsteader weren’t whiling away their hours in splashes of purples, pinks and reds. But, as the artist, you’ll create something very 21st century that you can prop up on the wall, and with all that UV we’re sure it’ll be enough to get the creative juices flowing!
The quirky classes will happen every Monday through until December, so you’ll have plenty of time to become the next Banksy. Book your tickets here!
