Oh street food, how we love you! Oodles of noodles? Piles of salt beef and pastrami sarnies? The world’s first cheese conveyor? Um, yes please! Well food lovers, you’re in luck because all of this and a whole lot more foodie goodness has crafted its way to Seven Dials thanks to the guys at KERB.
That’s right, this weekend saw the opening of Seven Dials Market and its gourmet antics has already been filling up our Insta feeds! Nestled in the heart of Seven Dials – perfectly situated opposite Neals Yard Dairy, The Barbary and the new St John Bakery – you’ll find KERB’s very first permanent home and London’s newest indoor food market, eek!
Wondering who on earth KERB is? Well, these street food pioneers have been spearheading London’s street food scene for a long ol’ time, bringing talented traders, exotic flavour combos and foodie fun to us Londoner’s at their food markets across the city. Now, they’ve gone one step further with their first permanent site in an old banana warehouse and it’s going to be open late seven day a week. Woohoo!
So good lookin’, whatcha’ got cookin’?
Well, the biggest unveiling on our lips is the arrival of the world’s first ever cheese conveyor, Pick & Cheese. Yep, think Yo Sushi meets cheese. Loads of cheese, in fact. The vendor houses 38-seats where cheese aficionados will sit and compete against each other to grab the gouda and bagsy the brie. Over 25 cheeses will whizz past you at your table, all of which boast a contrasting condiment to please the eyes as well as the taste buds!
