There’s one song I can never seem to get out of my head. It doesn’t matter where I am, whether I’m at work, home, on the train, or waltzing around the city. But, boy, is Dancing in the Moonlight a tune! You’re probably sat here wondering why I’m rambling on about old timers, Toploader and their notorious one-hit wonder. Well, it’s because you lucky Londoners can put the song into real life practice, right on top of The O2!
It’s time to grab your dancing shoes because from 31st October to 1st November, you’ll have the chance to boogie under the stars thanks to Up at The O2 and the launch of their silent disco series.
On the decks will be Capital FM DJ Dave Goodings, one of the youngest and exceptionally talented DJs currently on commercial radio, so if heights make you a little queasy and uneasy, you can rest easy knowing at least the tunes are in safe hands!
Once you’ve clambered atop, grab yourself a headset, pick your preferred channel, and challenge your buddies to a silent disco dance battle! DJ Goodings will be blasting out a mix of cheesy classics so whether you’re after Top 40 Hits or Old Skool Anthems, there’s a little something for everyone no matter your musical taste.
Oh, and the view isn’t half bad either! The combo of panoramic views of London’s iconic skyline and cheesy tunes really will leave you dancing in the moonlight.
