Think Meeting Someone In Real Life Is Impossible? These Dating Events Can Help

Put your number on a napkin, we dare you.

There’s no denying it can be hard working out who’s single at a bar. We blame dating apps for making it far too easy to avoid sparking up a conversation in real life at the bar. This is why The Inner Circle is the app fighting against anti-social dating behaviour by throwing huge parties for singles all over the world. It means you’ll no longer have to panic about siding up to someone who’s taken, and can revel in the old-fashioned simplicity of being single and having a good old mingle.

The Inner Circle‘s latest event saw Tokyo crash into London’s Century Club as the team submerged the entire top floor, including the rooftop balcony into a Japanese themed haven. Think neon lights and even a classic arcade room complete with classic dance machines.

If approaching strangers seems simply too old school for the real world, this evening certainly was an exception. Flirting over cocktails, or pulling pints together made sure no one left this event without a potential new squeeze… but it shouldn’t have to take a singles event for this to happen.

A dating expert at The Inner Circle suggested “people are too scared to meet offline now, they hide behind their screens and expect to still find love… that’s what we’re challenging. People need to get offline, and meet in real life.”

Other features in the app let members find places to date instantly, and can even check out if other members like the same bars, so they can literally just meet up somewhere they both already know and focus on getting to know each other. It’s a new approach to dating but it seems to be working.

If you fancy turning your online dating routine on its head and going offline, try The Inner Circle here.
