Ok, so it’s a pop-up and one of the most fashionable PUBlicity stunts we’ve ever seen, but yes, British fashion brand Mulberry are launching a pub this winter.

Following on from their successful summer pub which saw the fashion set sink a few in – namely the likes of Carl Barat, Rafferty Law and George Lamb – Mulberry are reopening their stylish boozer this November.

‘My Local’ will sit inside a full concept store pop-up at London’s Royal Exchange from Monday 18th November and run for a whole six months. Punters can shop the brand’s iconic bags and lifestyle accessories (or get inspiration for their Christmas wish list) before sinking a few in the back bar. Don’t expect bottles of Bolli popping Patsy style, this is a proper public house with Meantime on tap and even a pool table.

That said, it’s still impossibly chic – the Mulberry AW19 campaign was shot inside the pub – and in true pub style, the bar can be reserved for private ‘lock ins.’ The landlords will put on complimentary drinks, pool tournaments, sponsored prizes and, seeing as it’s Mulberry, a personal shopper will be on site for styling advice and recommendations, with all purchases hand delivered to you the following day. How very fashion.

If you do visit be sure to check out the newly launched Belted Bayswater bag: a deconstructed reinterpretation of the iconic accessory. As well as a special festive collection, the Season of Light, that will offer stocking fillers from stationery to teddy bears with proceeds donated to Beam Charity – an organisation that helps homeless people get back into work.
