The Handbook
The Handbook

Have you bought your Christmas presents yet? Nineteen percent of the population have already bought, wrapped and hidden theirs, ready for the big day. They must be insufferable! But when it comes to your child’s education, you don’t want to be like the 1% of people who leave their Christmas gift buying until Christmas Eve. Your loved ones might be okay with stocking-fillers purchased from the local garage forecourt, but it’s crucial to plan your child’s future in a far more organised way. Which is where the Independent Schools Show comes in.

The Independent Schools Show is an annual opportunity to plan your child’s future, with over 240 schools exhibiting at the Battersea event on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November. One of the biggest drivers of your child’s future will be their school with education, teachers and fellow pupils setting the course for your child’s entire future; the decisions parents make on their children’s behalf are formative, arguably choosing their spouse would be less influential (though arguably a little more controversial!)

The show is a relaxed setting in which to explore the various education options available, with independent schools from across the country (plus international schools) on hand, not to mention three Education Theatres which will be packed with over 65 leaders in education, speaking to the audience on subjects as diverse as ‘Educating children for a digital world’ and ‘How to pay for your children & grandchildren’s education’.

It’s not all talks and talking, Porsche is a show partner and will be offering some fun light relief with various activities for children and parents alike, including new and heritage Porsche models on display and the chance to win a Porsche Silverstone experience.

The Independent Schools Show is the perfect opportunity to get ahead and plan your child’s future, tickets are free and can be reserved in advance. Plus, maybe you could do that Christmas shop on the way home too!

10:00 – 17:00 on Saturday 9th November and 10:30 – 16:30 on Sunday 10th November
