*Insert stereotypical Howard Blake’s Walking in the Air lyrics*
Yep, you’ve guessed it. There’s another Snowman themed activity lurking its way into the city and this time it’s in the shape of an adorable festive sculpture trail celebrating Raymond Briggs’ much loved character.
Glide through the air this Sunday and discover twelve enormous new Snowman sculptures who’ll be popping up over night at London Bridge City, each delicately decorated with their very own unique design. In true Christmas spirit, each design has been created to release to the wonderfully festive tune, ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’.
Created by Wild in Art and in collaboration with Penguin Random House, twelve artists have been working their magic to create different sculptures in shape of the friendly Snowman we all grew up loving, and as you make your way across London Bridge City’s, Christmas by the River market you’ll uncover each unique statue.
Make a Christmassy day out of it and wander from stall to stall at the Christmas by the River market. With a glorious backdrop of Tower Bridge and the City’s iconic skyline, the market will be glistening with twinkling lights, pop-up stalls and Christmas spirit. Not forgetting, a lingering smell of mulled brews filling the air.
Catch the adorable Snowman trail from Tuesday 26th November until Sunday 5th January, at London Bridge City.
