Let it go? Well, when it comes to this news we simply can’t – because it’s so darn exciting. Frozen the musical is coming to London this October and we can already hear the patter of tiny feet making their way to the front row, kids screeching the tunes at the top of their lungs and parents wishing the movie had never, ever been invented…
The musical is set to open in the West End in 2020 based on 2013’s very successful film, seeing kiddos in the back of cars swapping “are we there yet,” with LET IT GOOOO! March last year saw the success of the Broadway opening which resulted in the Tony Award for Best Musical. As a result, the smash hit is returning from writers Jennifer Lee, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, providing all the magic, coolness and Elsa and Anna action you need.
The second Academy Award winning film Frozen 2, released last November, has drew in the crowds and saw swamps of little kids scurrying in princess gowns around the cinema – suffice to say parents, if you thought the Frozen craze was ending then oh no, no, no, it’s only just beginning! Theatre Royal Drury Lane is having a refurb at the moment, much like the musical, and the start of the new show will begin just as the Drury Lane renovation is complete.
Frozen fans, priority booking access has just been released! Tickets go on sale on Friday 6th March here.
