Joe Wicks, the guy who became Insta famous for throwing eggs into frying pans and smashing avos into bowls in a bid to get people eating leaner, announced on his social platforms last week that he is to host daily P.E. lessons on his YouTube channel.
The Body Coach and now household name is one of the UK’s celebrities using his fame positively amidst the coronavirus breakout, to get the 8 million plus school children, who now find themselves home-schooled, moving.
Streaming live from his YouTube channel, the 30-minute lessons are geared towards children of all ages and are aimed at getting “your kids moving, feeling energised, positive, and optimistic”. Starting at 9am each day, Monday to Friday, the routines are designed for any space and will help children (and parents) get stuck into their daily routine in these strange times.
Get your kids moving, feeling energised, positive and optimistic.
Plus, Joe Wicks is the poster child for fun, his cheeky chappy persona has earned him a legion of fans through his online workouts, his bestselling cookbooks and Instagram page. And this latest project is sure to make him the nation’s coolest P.E. teacher.
Don’t forget your kit bag, Joe will be live every morning Monday to Friday for the foreseeable. If you miss his morning workout, there are plenty of child-friendly workouts on his page to entertain the kids with, as well as adult routines for you too.
