Union Street Café has launched a brand new Teens Cooking Class, with the first masterclass happening this Easter weekend on Sunday 12 April. The perfect activity aimed at budding chefs aged 13-17, they will be guided by expert chefs through a 90-minute cooking class that will see them getting hands-on in the kitchen, making rolling and shaping their own gnocchi dough, followed by an ice cream and sorbet making demonstration. The class starts at 10am with a tour of the restaurant and kitchen, followed by the interactive class in a private dining area. Once the gnocchi is cooked, the group will sit down to share a delicious three-course feast for lunch, with Italian-style mocktails, assaggini (starters and nibbles) then the fresh gnocchi with sauces, and of course, ice cream for dessert. Parents and guardians are welcome to join their budding chefs for lunch (and test their efforts!) and everyone will take away the gnocchi recipe from the day, ready to recreate at home time and time again.
