Fizz Fix Alert! Spot This Vintage Car In London For A Free Glass Of Champagne
There are some things in life that should always go together. Diamonds and chocolate. Spa trips and girlfriends. And vintage cars and champagne. Thankfully, Searcys has us covered with the latter with a new vintage champagne car that is touring around London – and pouring free bubbles for anyone who spots it!
Enjoy fizz on wheels from Searcys’ Rolls Royce champagne car, the Searcys Champagne Coupé. Yes, that’s right. Bottles will be popping open left, right and centre as the car takes to the road on Wednesday 27th July. It’s for one day only, so you better be quick as the car tours across London, visiting Searcys venues and some of our favourite London hangouts.
What’s the Searcys story?
After an illustrious career as the confectioner for the Duke of Northumberland, John Searcy founded Searcys in 1847. It was the go-to events company in the capital. This year, Searcys is celebrating its 175th anniversary with a whole host of fantastic events taking place across its 18 venues in London and beyond. They started celebrations with a donation pledge of £175,000 for charities and causes that are supported by the Searcys team. And now they want to welcome everyone in on the action to sample Searcys service at its best.

Why the champagne?
The car is making a whistlestop tour of London as part of Searcys 175th anniversary celebrations. The UK’s oldest caterer has converted a 1935 Rolls-Royce Sedanca de Ville into a fully working mobile champagne bar. It will be filled with more than 60 bottles, including the full range of Searcys Selected Cuvées, the new limited-edition Blanc de Blancs, summery rosé and a selection of specials from key champagne houses.
Spot the coupé throughout the day on 27 July, take a picture, tag @searcyslondon #searcys to redeem a complimentary glass of Searcys Champagne with a meal at one of Searcys restaurants and bars, including St Pancras Brasserie, Searcys at the Gherkin (prebooked only), Osteria at the Barbican and 116 Pall Mall Champagne Bar on the day.
