Tuck into a tasting menu by TV favourite Kerth Gumbs at Ormer Mayfair
Launching this weekend is a decadent tasting menu from Great British Menu finalist and Executive Chef at Ormer Mayfair, Kerth Gumbs.
The exclusive six-course tasting menu will be served at the chic restaurant and showcases some of Kerth’s dishes he cooked on the show, from a pretty garden-inspired starter to ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ – a fish dish teaming with lobster, coconut, cauliflower and cockles – to the intriguing pre-dessert titled Snozzle, Cucumber and Frobscottle.
The Great British Menu Tasting Experience is priced at £95 per person. Available 17th September until 19th December 2020.

Milk the last drops of summer at Angelina’s new outdoor terrace grill
The thought of not being able to dine alfresco for the next eight months fills us with dread, so we’ll be heading to Dalston’s Angelina restaurant – the incredible Japanese/Italian hybrid – to bask in the Indian summer September rays.
They’ve just opened an outdoor grill serving up Yakitori and Piadine dishes, including their famous Karaage with Taleggio Cheese and Yuzu Kosho Mayo.
Drinks are just as interesting with Yuzu Lemonade, Yuzu Shandy, Negroni and Montanaro Madness on offer, too.
Get your giggle on with Milton Jones at Peckham’s Bussey Rooftop Bar
Southeast hipsters have long loved Peckham’s Bussey Rooftop Bar for cheap cocktails and bleary eyed nights, but this weekend they’re putting on a special comedy show with Mock the Week regular and one-liner slinging oddball, Milton Jones.
Taking place on Sunday, the comedy night will take happen outside and is the perfect way to end a weekend of unexpected sunshine with some much needed laughter.

Catch this free Grayson Perry exhibition opening in London this week
British artist, perhaps known better for this whimsically doll-like dresses (which he wears when he’s not in old T-shirt and jeans) and thought-provoking Channel 4 documentaries, Grayson Perry has opening an exhibition in Hoxton.
It’s entirely free and looks at his love-hate relationship with American. Titled The MOST Specialist Relationship, catch it at the Victoria Miro Gallery in Hoxton and take in some of his intricate ceramics work and references that span everything from Elvis to Walt Disney, Ray Charles to Trump.

Book before it books up to try Jack Whitehall’s Food at Provisioners
From a famous London artist to a famous London comedian. Well, comedian/actor/presenter and now /food blogger, as Jack Whitehall has launched an exclusive menu with London restaurant, Provisioners, off he back of his lockdown blog, FoodSlut.
Dishes are a celebration of American-inspired, deep fried, dripping in guilt comfort food, from the Slutty Burger to the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches and the Korean Style Cauliflower Bites for a nod to something healthy.
The menu will be available from 25th September but with Jack’s name attached to it, we’re sure it will be a huge success so book now.
