While we can’t celebrate St Patrick’s Day in the usual way, we can experience the festivities at home with a little help from original Irish whiskey Tullamore D.E.W who have just launched the ‘world’s smallest(ish) Irish pub’ online. 

Open for business 24/7 until Sunday, the interactive pub invites its visitors to take a sit and curate their perfect St Patrick’s Day experience at home. Choose from the varying activities, from comedy musings from Irish comedian Alison Spittle, to sing-a-longs and cocktail making masterclasses. It’ll be great craic.

Always wanted to learn how to craft the perfect bouquet? Let Mayfair’s leading florist, Ellie Hartley lead you through everything you need to know about flower arranging at home. 

Part of Brown’s Hotel’s new Spring Sensations Masterclass experience, Ellie will guide you through a virtual, interactive workshop helping you master preparing and arranging a variety of seasonal flowers. 

Alongside the workshop will be a tea tasting session hosted by tea experts, JING. Here you’ll learn the ins and outs of teas, as you’re transported to the Asian origins of the flavourful leaves. The experience will be rounded off a delectable traditional afternoon tea delivery, brimming with sweets and savouries to enjoy.

Brown’s Hotel offers the Masterclass for £220 for two (minimum of two guests) of 5% will be donated towards female-focused charity, DRESS FOR SUCCESS, in support of International Women’s Day.

SOLA, the Michelin-starred, modern Californian fine dining restaurant in Soho, has unveiled its latest six course At Home menus, which look to head chef Salvatore Greco’s native Sicily for inspiration.

The restaurant has created dishes which evoke the cuisine and climate of the Italian island, while staying true to SOLA’s ethos of creativity, innovation and respect for the finest produce.

Marrying luxury and simplicity, SOLA At Home menus require only minimal cooking and are sold individually, allowing customers to mix-and-match different menus to suit their dietary requirements. There are ‘Omnivore’, ‘Pescatarian’ and ‘Vegetarian’ menus, featuring a range of dishes such as braised lamb neck with cinnamon caponata and polenta cake; octopus carpaccio with blood orange salad and a vegetarian roast pepper risotto with goat’s cheese, morels and truffle.

Head to this Portuguese street food pop-up 

Brought to you by the team behind Portuguese Bar, Douro, this new foodie pop-up is one you’re going to want to head to every single weekend. 

Having launched last weekend, Roulote can be found at the Bar Douro branch in London Bridge Street Food Market, Flat Iron Square, and boasts the biggest and best classic Portuguese sandwiches. Inspired by founder Max Graham’s love of street food in Porto, the menu boasts two delicious takeaway sandwich options. 

First up is the Bifana, a traditional take on Portugal’s favourite street food snack made with pork shoulder poached in white wine and fermented pepper sauce, served in carcaças bread with savora mustard mayonnaise. And then there’s the Octopus Roll, a soft white roll that’s fully loaded with octopus, red peppers and caramelised onions, before being topped and finished with coriander, straw potato crisps and piri-piri mayo – yum.

Get your foodie fix at Selfridges new pop-up, Pabellón  

As if exploring Selfridges’ bountiful food court wasn’t exciting enough, last weekend saw the arrival of a new Venezuelan street food pop-up, from food brand Pabellón. 

The Venezuelan street food pioneers will be taking over the space in a three month residency, offering classic dishes from Venezuela. On the menu expect, the Aprea, a traditional cornbread prepared by hand and filled with a choice of beef, chicken or beans, before being topped with cheese, salad, avocado and fried plantains; and a Pabellon, a Venezuelan rice bowl served with meat or black beans, plantain, pico de gallo, avocado and half a arepa. They’ve also got some moreish sweet potato tempura you’ll want to try out too.

As lockdown restrictions are eased, Kindred are hosting a virtual online night dedicated to bringing singletons together in a more meaningful way. Alex Pina, the thriller fused creator of Money Heist and Netflix’s sandy Ibiza mystery series, White Lines, is back with a bang thanks to his new addictive Netflix series, Sky Rojo. 

Set on the sandy shores of Tenerife, Sky Rojo follows three women who embark on a wild run from their pimp and his henchman after a terrifying turn of events at a brothel. 

The Spanish series, with English subtitles, stars Lali Espósito, Yany Prado and Verónica Sánchez.
