‘Dead Disco’ at Cherry Galore

If you’re yet to check out Stoke Newington High Street’s hottest new bar, Cherry Galore, then see all of its allure and drama in action at its ‘Dead Disco’ Halloween bash. Having only opened its doors in late September, the underground bar has already become a playful paradise bursting with colour, neon and nocturnal life. 

Their Halloween event, taking place on Friday 29th October, will see guest DJs Ronnie Joice (aka Beetlejoice) and Backroom Disco Soundsystem rocking out for the night, playing disco, house, funk and soul. Behind the bar, the expert bartenders will be on hand to mix up a menu full of frighteningly tasty disco-inspired cocktails – there’ll even be an ‘unhappy’ hour. 

Fancy dress is encouraged – come as your favourite dead pop/rock/disco star…

Jack the Ripper Tour at Discount Suit Company

Spook yourself silly with this spine-tingling tour dedicated to the most haunting killer to have lived, Jack the Ripper. In honour of Halloween, Discount Suit Company has partnered with London’s Walks, proprietors of The Jack The Ripper Tour for a spooky special packed with the tour and Halloween cocktails. 

The walks will start outside the bar on 29A Wentworth Street, where you’ll be able to enjoy a complimentary hot punch to warm your cockles (and blood) before venturing to the backstreets of the notorious killer’s stalking grounds of Whitechapel and Spitalfields. 

End your night at Discount Suit Company, where tour goers can book a table and receive a 25% discount on their final bill. Sip on cocktails like the Rocket Lolly, made with Bombay Sapphire Gin, El Bandara Rosé Vermut, Victory Bitter, Pineapple, Citrus, Tiki Bitters, or the Baklava, with Cardamom Butter-Washed Irish Whiskey, Amontillado Sherry, Honey, Orange Blossom, Bitters.

Spooky Events at Park Chinois

Halloween will be arriving at Park Chinois in full force. Their Saturday Dim Sum Afternoon Soiree will be given a spooky makeover, complete with a cobweb covered staircase leading down to Club Chinois. Enjoy a culinary feast that’ll see you travelling through the continents, all whilst watching immersive actors dressed in costumes and makeup to match. 

Their regular shows will also be taking a spooky turn from Friday to Sunday night. Characters will be draped in red capes and skeleton catsuits. There’ll also be a limited edition orange Carbon Jeroboam, available thanks to their collaboration with Champagne Carbon, as well as a halloween cocktail.

Dead Ringer Singer at The Piano Works

Some of the greatest musicians may be gone, but they aren’t forgotten. Celebrate them in all of their glistening glory at The Piano Works this Halloween. 

The popular music venue will be hosting a ‘Dead Ringer Singer’ party. Think of a talented band bringing all of the best music requests to life in a haunting, spooky fashion. Guests are encouraged to dress up, grab a cocktail and shake things up this Halloween.

Halloween Bal Masqué at Kindred

Who doesn’t love a masked ball? West London’s best kept secret and members’ club, Kindred, will be opening up its doors for a sophisticated and seductive night this Halloween. Dress to impress, mask up and enjoy an evening of cocktails and glamour. 

There’ll be interactive performances throughout the evening, with DJ and dancing commencing from 10pm. Dress code strictly enforced (black tie or thematic only) and masks or face paint are mandatory.

DRAG-Oween Bottomless Brunch at The Last Talisman 

Let Halloween go out with a bang at The Last Talisman. The cocktail bar has a whole host of activities going on this Halloween weekend, from a Day of The Dead tequila tasting and cocktail masterclass, to The Black Orchid Ballerina and Bubbles (think a whole lot of ballet, pizzazz and bubbles).  

But the main event is the DRAG-Oween Bottomless Brunch. Running on Sunday 31st, head down this weekend for a trick or treat style brunch hosted by  the fabulous BOSS who will be bringing Dylan and La Belle Drag Queen guests. Expect Asian style dishes and bottomless drinks for 90 minutes, plus they’ll be giving away prizes for the best dressed so make sure you show up dazzling.

Halloween at Between the Bridges 

From chilling entertainment to BOO-zy drinks in the beer garden, Between the Bridges will undergo a creepy transformation in time for Halloween this year. The South Bank destination will play host to pop-up venues, including the on-site pub The Reaper’s Arms, a heated Spiegeltent and brunches that have been dragged from hell… 

Over at The Reaper’s Arms, expect three days of horror singalongs and music from DJ Yoda, while there’ll be a drag brunch (from hell) on the Saturday, hosted by a star of RuPaul’s Drag Race and The Clapham Grand team. 

Monday to Friday from 11am there’ll also be a free five-hour session of face painting, dance classes, singalongs and drawing games.

Sky Garden’s annual Halloween party

Sky Garden’s annual Halloween party returns for another year, bringing with it all of its usual tricks and treats. The space will be transformed with spooky pumpkins, cobwebs and terribly haunting decorations, while the bar will be serving up ghostly themed cocktails and late-night menus of feasting bites.

DJ Dan V will be spinning the decks before Neo Waves takes over to create an evening of live music. Tickets start from £30 and include a Halloween cocktail, glass of Champagne and access to the gardens and Halloween party.

Halloween at Backyard Cinema

For those who prefer to be spooked with films, look to Backyard Cinema’s Halloween takeover. The popular cinema experience will undergo a spooky transformation to celebrate the most haunting month of the year so you can experience your favourite scary movies like never before. The space has been covered in cobwebs, pumpkins and even some horrifying characters. 

Watch Halloween favourites like Hocus Pocus, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Addams Family Values, Scream, Beetlejuice and The Lost Boys.

Survive The Night at DNR VR

As if Halloween wasn’t spooky enough in the real world, Battersea Power Station’s DNR VR is preparing to spook its visitors silly with a creepy one-off virtual reality experience. 

Taking place Friday 29th, London’s first and largest virtual reality arcade will be challenging visitors to ‘survive the night’, a chance for all of your worst horror film nightmares to come into play in the real ‘virtual’ world. Those who dare can immerse themselves as they try to find their way out of the haunted hospital of horror, evade the supernatural in affecting the manor or battle to the end in a post-apocalyptic world.

Battersea Power Station has a whole host of other spooky activities and events going on over the Halloween season, from creepy mazes to get lost in to horror story telling and thriller dance sessions. Check them out here.

El Dia of the Dead at London Cabaret Club

London Cabaret Club is changing up its current James Bond-inspired production ‘London Never Dies’ to give it a spooky spin for three days across the Halloween weekend. This adapted production will actually nod to the Mexican celebration of The Day of the Dead, combining 007’s notorious adventures with the chilling fiesta. 

Taking place at The Bloomsbury Ballroom, guests can expect bright entertainment, colourful characters and even a specially designed menu to reflect the flavour and tastes of the Mexican celebration. Dressing up is encouraged with prizes and surprises for those in the best costumes.

Themed Weekend at Skylight Tobacco Dock 

Tobacco Dock’s rooftop bar, Skylight, will be welcoming Halloween with open (skeleton) arms. Over the weekend, the space will be transformed to bring the spookiest of things to life, with all twenty igloos dressed up too. Igloos are available to book for up to 10pax for  3.5 hour slots and all guests will get a special themed cocktail included too.  

On Saturday, there’ll be a ticketed event, complete with a full costume parade, prizes for best dressed, outdoor games and a DJ. Their Peckham site will also have a ticketed event on the Saturday too.

Criolla Brunch at Ayllu

Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant, Ayllu, will be returning to its Peruvian roots this October to celebrate El Dia de la Canción Criolla. It’s a day usually dedicated to music so the Paddington restaurant will be celebrating in style with food, bottomless drinks and a musical journey of Criolla.

The bottomless brunch will include a five-course Nikkei tasting menu, featuring dishes such as ceviche mixto, beef bao buns and salmon tacos, as well as bottomless wine, beer, cocktails, Prosecco and Champagne.

COYA Ritual Halloween Party at COYA Mayfair

On Thursday 28th, guests are invited (if they dare…) to the COYA Ritual party in Mayfair. It’ll be a Halloween twist on their usual Thursday night parties, packed with music, cocktails and dances as it’s taken over by tribes of the Amazon. 

There’ll be terrifying cocktails on offer too, including the Tunche, a cocktail that nods to the mythical story of the El Tunche, a scary being who wanders through the dark nights of the Peruvian first. 

There’s also a party on Saturday 30th October at both their Mayfair and Angel Court venues. Expect immersive performances, music and cocktails.

UV Cricket at Sixes Cricket Club

Launching in time for Halloween, Sixes Cricket Club is levelling up your cricket experience with their new UV experience. The cricket venue, renowned for its cricket batting nets, restaurant and bar, will be introducing a new glow-in-the dark experience, allowing you to don your best neon outfit kitted out with glow sticks for a Halloween night to remember. 

Alongside the UV, there’ll be special cocktails making their way onto the menu too. We love the Tanqueray gin infused with pineapple, citric acid, coconut and ectoplasm.

Trapped in Wonderland at Clapham Grand 

There’s always been something rather chilling about Alice’s Wonderland adventures, but even more so when it comes Halloween themed. The Clapham Grand is hosting a one night only event named Trapped in Wonderland where guests can experience their favourite fairytale for real, plus a few haunted experiences thrown in along the way… 

Venture down the rabbit hole and uncover a tea party that’s splattered with blood and not to friendly cat and bunny characters. The night will be packed out with confetti showers, live DJs, oversized Wonderland props and spooky characters.

Halloween Ball at Seven Dials Market

Seven Dials Market is putting on quite the spooky show this Halloween, from bottomless Sunday feasts to Halloween balls. Running from 25th – 31st October, there’ll be tonnes of spooky specials – including the spicy bloody stew from Bong Bongs, to the Eye of the Newt and Toes of Frog Ramen from NANBAN.

But most excitingly there’ll be putting on two Halloween balls! Soak up the best of London’s street food, cocktails and dance to tracks from 00’s Hip Hop DJ Matman followed by DJFlexin’.

Halloween Brunch at Puttshack Bank

The crazy golfing experts at Puttshack Bank will be hosting a Halloween inspired brunch this Sunday, packed with a live set from saxophonist Simone Geda, resident DJ Jorge Montiel and two-course brunch menu, featuring the likes of eggs royale; chicken and waffles; and the vegan fully monty.

Halloween Set Menu at Shoryu Ramen

Shoryu Ramen is celebrating Halloween this year with a spooky three-course set menu. Priced at £22 per person, tuck into the likes of spooky pumpkin croquette buns decorated with skeleton faces and Dracula tonkotsu ramen, which comes with a rich 12-hour pork broth ramen topped with char siu BBQ pork belly, nitamago burford brown egg, kikurage mushrooms, spring onion, red ginger, nori seaweed and caramelised glack garlic mayu and garlic chip to keep the vampires at bay…
