Whether you’re cheering on your favourite football team from the sidelines or watching England play an intense game of cricket, food at these sporting events isn’t always a priority. But this year sees one sporting event adding a new dimension to the dining experience – we’re talking about informal dining from a Michelin Star chef.
That’s where Keith Prowse comes in. The UK’s hospitality industry leaders, they are experts in their field and are single handedly changing the way we dine at the biggest sporting events and venues in the country. This year sees them add a new exciting offering at Wimbledon too, and you’re invited.
Enter The Treehouse on The Lawn, a brand new hospitality experience from Keith Prowse that’s launching at The Championships, Wimbledon. The focus is on informal dining but not as you know it.
Rather than having set dining times, the experience fits around you. They’ve waved goodbye to seating plans and agendas, and instead allow their guests to make the dining experience their own and fit around their day. Plus, the space is more relaxed too – think vibrant colours, hanging plants, banquette seating and DJs
Perched above The Lawn, with cantilever balconies overlooking a luxury garden space (also accessible to guests!), The Treehouse will feature a roaming menu of small plates from culinary whizz, Tom Sellers, Chef Patron of 2 Michelin Star Restaurant Story.

Having worked with some of the industry’s most influential chefs, including Tom Aikens at Muse, Thomas Keller at The French Laundry, and René Redzepi at Noma, Tom Sellers opened Restaurant Story in 2013 at just 26. The restaurant impressively gained its first Michelin star after just five months of opening and its second in 2021, so you can expect big things from the food at The Treehouse.
Focusing on British ingredients, Tom Sellers’ menu will have a strong sustainable and ethical approach. Ingredients will be ethically sourced, using seasonal produce from small suppliers. To go hand in hand with the informal setting, the menu will be centred around small plates that can be shared and enjoyed standing.

There’ll be a canapé selection including celeriac and truffle arancini; cured salmon and citrus butter milk; and rabbit sandwich, made with pressed rabbit leg, coated in polenta and fried until crisp, with bergamot pickled carrots and tarragon emulsion.
As well as larger plates including tasty BBQ lamb chops with wild garlic emulsion; sweet onion agnolotti; Isle of Wight tomatoes with vanilla and caviar; and scallop paired with cucumber and elderflower. Save room for dessert and you can expect to be delighting on dishes such as a delicious almond and dill soft serve, perfect for cooling down from the warm weather.
A team of mixologists will be on hand to craft bespoke cocktails too, each paired to complement and draw out the flavours of the food. And there’ll even be live cooking stations around The Treehouse, demonstrating and showcasing the best of seafood.
And as if that’s not enough, The Treehouse on The Lawns guarantees Centre Court tickets. Yep, we thought that’d seal the deal. Now all that’s left to do is book in and get ready to experience world-class tennis in a whole new way…
