How do you like your eggs in the morning…? If you like yours with a side of Champagne, you’re in luck. This weekend sees the iconic Champagne house, Veuve Clicquot launch a café pop-up to celebrate its 250th anniversary.
Located at 59 Greek Street from Friday 22nd until Saturday 30th April, the Sunny Side Up Café will bring vibrancy and chic-ness to the classic greasy spoon. Celebrated chef and TV personality Andi Oliver will be bringing her flare and flavours to the café’s hero dish. Named ‘Andi’s Waffles’, it’s a new take on the breakfast favourite, served with a fried egg, streaky bacon, confit cherry tomatoes and Andi’s spiced maple syrup.
Other stand-out dishes include eggs and marmite soldiers; curried tofu scramble; and a selection of crispy bacon coco bread rolls. Pair the experience with a glass or bottle of Veuve Clicquot of course.
