Another week another Christmas-Lights-Switching-On-Ceremony (by Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christis). But this one at uber-hip The Kings Cross Filling Station (KXFS) was definitely the coolest on the block. Together with Vauxhall Motors, it commissioned set designer and illustrator Gary Card, to create an Electric Christmas tree lighting up Regents Canal as part of the Vauxhall Ampera Season. Soho House collaborates with US chef Brendan Sodikoff

Soho House is teaming up with Brendan Sodikoff to launch two new outlets in Notting Hill; Electric Diner and Electric Donuts. The restaurants are set to open on Portobello Road next month following the development of the Electric House members' club due to a fire in June.  Electric Diner draws inspiration from the traditional American diner featuring booths, bar seats and will serve Sodikoff's signature dishes.
