Everything’s Changing in Paradise

West London gastropub, Paradise, has appointed Cat Ashton as its new Head Chef to mark the beginning of spring. Ashton was previously Head Chef at Petersham Nurseries, so you know the pub is in good hands. A new chef is not the restaurant’s only recent change, as they have recently debuted a newly refurbished dining room, with garden and front bar on the ground floor, alongside a first floor private dining room and conservatory. This makes it perfect for the hot summer nights, drinking away pretending that it isn’t only Wednesday and you don’t have to get up at 6 […]

Asia De Cuba Launch New Menu

Last night, The Handbook was treated to a preview of the new Asia de Cuba menu at the St Martin’s Lane Hotel. Headed by Chef Luis, this innovative menu fuses the unlikely pairing of Asian and Cuban cuisine, with some very tasty results! A special mention must go the super attentive and professional serving staff, who were at the ready with napkins for me, after I’d stuffed my face with a tasty churro. We also had a fantastic waiter at our table, who filled my glass […]
