Enoteca Rosso Is Kensington’s Very Own Wine Tardis…

Enoteca Rosso; once I’d wrapped my head around the name, I wrapped my lips around a whole lot of wine glasses. This chic Italian doesn’t let you leave hungry and is a pasta strand away from guests having to sleep in the restaurant from carb overload. The fine food and fare comes with a side dish of charming staff with engrossing tales of their heritage at their helm, all of which can be enjoyed whilst sipping a Tempranillo. The spacious Kensington restaurant delights with its wine bottle lined walls, best described as being like a Scandi-style cellar. Imaginative Italian food […]

The Raw Food Restaurant That Should Be On Your Radar

On a balmy summer night I made my way to Victoria to try a menu that wouldn’t normally be my bag. Yet, after once trying a tarantula cocktail at Sea Container’s Dandelion bar, it’s fair to say I’m typically forthright when it comes to food and drink. That’s not to say this menu was of a nature as eccentric and otherworldly as my cocktail escapade, but rather it was a 100% vegetarian menu, of which I’m not used to trying. If you’ve never heard of the M Restaurant family then I’ll eat my hat (if I have room post-meal). The […]

The Moreish Moroccan Afternoon Tea We Want More Of

Momo, the Berber restaurant on Heddon Street Mayfair, is 22 years old and has been overhauled and relaunched to mark the special occasion. The decor has been refreshed and has largely the same Marrakesh/enchanted souk feeling to the restaurant.  Upon first look, you’ll spot a beautiful hand-painted dome, Art Deco sofas, illuminated palm trees both real and copper making you feel like you’ve been transported to Morocco… or so we wish! With the man behind Sketch, Mourad Mazouz, still at the helm it seems that the restaurant has weathered a storm: from starting off as one of the hottest celeb […]

The Staycation Destination That’s A Hit With The Royals

The news cycle may resound to the soundtrack of Harry and Meghan, but we’ll always have a place in our hearts for ol’ Wills and Kate. Three cheers for the couple who paved the way for the ongoing royal renaissance, who defined Sloane Ranger chic for a new generation of toffs and whose relationship we followed every twist and turn (and break up) of like it was some kind of Dawson’s Creek with tiaras. So in honour of our future king and queen (and for the owl – read on…), I took the train up from London town to spend […]

We Visited Cliveden House, Meghan Markle’s Favourite Spot For A Sleepover

I once shook Justin Trudeau's hand. It was awesome. Aside from this, moments of 'feeling cool' are very few and far between for me. Mainly because I am implausibly clumsy and spend my life channeling Hugh Grant and his hangdog stuttering in nearly every social situation. And yes, I have said "oopsy daisy" far too many times.

The Restaurant That’s Forkin’ Amazing!

In the heart of London’s Square Mile next to Monument Station and a hop, skip and jump from London Bridge you’ll find the newest venture from Farmer J. By day you’ll find their fieldtray favourites, but by night, it turns into an all new restaurant, The Fancy Fork. Spearheaded by Shuli Wilmer, who spent five years working at London hotspot The River Café, it’s clear she’s brought together her experience with the flavours of her Israeli upbringing. The menu champions seasonal produce with dishes like zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, basil and olive paste and grilled whole fish with smashed roasted […]
