The Fable Review

The Fable is part of the Drake and Morgan collection and draws inspiration from Aesop’s fables. The theme isn’t abundantly clear to the untrained eye though but once you start noticing it the subtle touches show through. The most obvious place is in the stairwell which leads between the 3 floors, as the wallpaper is prints of story book pages. Founded by London promoters, label managers and locals, Remi Landaz and Bruno Cabral of Half Baked, the 500 capacity space is an open-plan warehouse conversion with large glass floor-to-ceiling doors overlooking the canal and a wooden bar and open plan kitchen made using recycled wood from the local area.
