Harrods and Disney Launch New Fairytale Retail Experience

On 25 November, Harrods and will open the world’s first Disney boutique experience outside of a Disney Park & Resort: a Cinderella-inspired ‘Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique’. It will be the centrepiece of the new ‘Disney at Harrods’ venture, which also includes a bespoke Disney Store, which opened on 1 November, and the Disney Café which will be refreshed over the coming months. Angela Hartnett’s newest Café Murano – offshoot of the original Michelin-starred Murano in Mayfair – opens today in St James’s Street with staff wearing some rather smart uniforms by royal warrant shirt makers, Turnbull & Asser. This week, The Handbook headed down to Leicester Square to try out the new(ish) branch of Muriel’s Kitchen. Situated on Leicester Square, next to the Empire cinema, it is in prime location for tourists, theatre-goers and commuters on their way home from work. On entering, we were amazed at how big the restaurant is.
